Type locality. Described from Mediterranean Sea.

Remarks. Unnecessary replacement name for Odostomia jeffreysi B.D.D., 1883 not Odostomia jeffeysiana (G. Seguenza ms. in Monterosato, 1884) (the two names were and are not homonyms). Recorded by MolluscaBase (2018) as a synonym of Parthenina monozona (Brusina, 1869) (see also Micali et al., 2015).
