Distribution in Vietnam. In forest, grassland, cultivated land.

Northeast: Phú Thọ (Lâm Thao; Xuân Sõn national park).

Red River Delta: Hải Phòng ( Cát Bà national park ) .

North Central Coast: Thanh Hóa (Hà Trung).

CI: Nguyễn T.T.A. 2009; Nguyễn T.T. et al. 2007a

Type locality. Gruta do Poço da Cova da Moura , Coimbra ( Portugal) .

General distribution. Known from Portugal and Canary Islands ( Arbea 2021), and Iran ( Kahrarian 2014). May be palaearctic.

Remarks. Vietnam records will need verification.

Genus MESAPHORURA Börner, 1901

Type species. Mesaphorura krausbaueri Börner, 1901 .

Four species recorded in Vietnam, and some unidentified specimens from Đồng Nai (Cát Tiên national park) (EC: Shveenkova 2011), Kiên Giang (Hòn Chông) (CI: Deharveng et al. 2009).
