Type deposition. D. gigantea: ZMMU (syntypes); D. outoensis: ZSM.

Type data. D. gigantea : ex Leopoldamys edwardsi [syn. Rattus grochovskii D. Tien (nomen nudum)], North Vietnam; D. outoensis : ex Berylmys bowersi (syn. Rattus bowersi latouchei ), China.

Hosts. RODENTIA : Berylmys bowersi , Leopoldamys edwardsi , Niviventer confucianus , Rattus rattus .

Distribution. China, Vietnam.
