Hosts. RODENTIA : Muridae gen. sp.; PRIMATES : Homo sapiens ; AVES: Ailuroedus melanocephalus , Casuarius casuarius , Chalcophaps stephani , Chlamydera cerviniventris , Colluricincla megarhyncha , Erythropitta macklotii , Pachycephala sp., Paradisaea minor , Pitohui kirhocephalus , Ptilorrhoa caerulescens , Tanysiptera galatea .

Distribution. Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea.

Remarks. According to the slide labels, the lectotype was designated by Vercammen-Grandjean in 1971; that act has not been published.
