Type material: Holotype: male, CHINA, Yunnan, Gongshan County, Dulongjiang Township, Kongdang Village , 27.8796°N, 98.3388°E, 1527 m, 25 October 2004, Guo Tang (Tang-04-04H). Paratypes: CHINA, Yunnan: 3 males, 2 females, same data as holotype (Tang-04-04P). GoogleMaps

Etymology. The specific name is the combination of the Latin “ pinna ” (fin) and “ forma ” (form), referring to the fin-shaped retrolateral tibial apophysis; to be treated as a Latin adjective.

Diagnosis. The male of the new species is similar to that of S. jaegeri Logunov & Azarkina, 2008 described from Luang Nam Tha, Laos (see Logunov & Azarkina 2008, figs 61–70), but can be reliably distinguished by: tibia with 3 apophyses ( Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 B, 4A), while with 2 in S. jaegeri ( Logunov & Azarkina 2008, figs 61–64); tegular apophysis almost small finger-shaped ( Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 B, 4A), while large triangular in S. jaegeri ( Logunov & Azarkina 2008, fig. 61); apex of ventral tibial partly covers the base of cymbium ( Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 B, 4A), while far away from the base of cymbium in S. jaegeri ( Logunov & Azarkina 2008, figs 61, 63); in ventral view, retrolateral tibial apophysis wider and shorter, fin-shaped ( Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 B, 4A), while spoon-shaped in S. jaegeri ( Logunov & Azarkina 2008, figs 63– 64). The females of the new species resemble those of S. jianfengensis (see Peng & Li 2002, figs 1A–G), but can be distinguished by: spermathecae kidney-shaped ( Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 E–F, 4D–E), while inverted pear-shaped in S. jianfengensis ( Peng & Li 2002, figs 1F–G).
