Hedychridium scutellare maculisternum Arens, 2011: 316 , Replacement name for Hedychridium maculiventre Linsenmaier, 1959b , nom. praeocc., nec Linsenmaier, 1959a ( roseum group).

Type locality. Croatia: “Jugoslawien, ♂ Type, ♀ Allotype Coll. m. (Dalmatien, Omis, VIII. 1952, leg. Verhoeff)”.

Holotype, ♂ and allotype, ♀ [glued on the same label]: Yugoslavia Omis ( Dalm .) 12.–18.VIII.1952 PMF Verhoeff // Hedychridium Ab. maculiventre Lins. Linsenmaier det. 1959 // 74 // NML _ ENT GBIF _ Chr0011450 (ex type-collection).

Remarks. We (Arens and Rosa in Arens 2011) considered Hedychridium maculiventre Linsenmaier, 1959b a junior homonym of H. maculiventre Linsenmaier, 1959a (unnecessary replacement name for H. palestinense Balthasar, 1953 ) and Arens (2011) proposed the replacement name H. maculisternum pro H. maculiventre Linsenmaier, 1959b .
