Type locality. Spain: “Spanien, Sevilla, IV.65, ♀ Type, ♀ Paratypen in Coll. m.”.

Holotype, ♀ and paratypes 2♀ [glued on the same label]: Spanien 24.IV.65 Östlich Sevilla leg. Linsenmaier // ♀ Type vorn Paratypen Hedychridium Ab. sevillanum Lins. Linsenmaier det. 1966 (ex type-collection) // 216 // NML _ ENT GBIF _ Chr0009176 .

Remarks. Linsenmaier labelled a male specimen in the type-collection as allotype, bearing the following labels: Spanien 26.6.91 Segovia Coca Linsenmaier // ♂ Allotype Hedychridium Ab. sevillanum Lins. Linsenmaier det. 1991. This specimen does not belong to the type series because it was collected after the original description.
