Type locality. Palestine: “Palästina. ♀ Type Coll. m. (Jericho, 30.VII.1942, leg. Bytinski-Salz)”.

Remarks. Kimsey & Bohart (1991) overlooked Linsenmaier’s (1969) synonymisation and listed Hedychridium insequosum as a valid species.
