Type host. Oryzomys flavescens (Waterhouse)   (Mammalia: Cricetidae   ). Site of infection. Small intestine.

Type locality. Argentina, Buenos Aires Province, Campana, RN 12, Km 100 (35 ° 6 ʹ 59 ʺS, 60 ° 28 ʹ 45 ʺW). Holotype: 3 MLP 1914 / 1. Paratypes: MLP 1914 / 2 (allotype Ƥ), MLP 1914 / 3. (933, 9 ƤƤ) (cited as MLP

1914 bC).
