Type species: Kusala sagittata Dworkowska, 1981

Dorsum yellow or white. Color pattern red or orange or brown. Head as wide or wider than pronotum. Crown fore margin strongly produced and angulate medially. Vertex usually with pair of or several dark preapical spots. Pronotum dark, with light lateral margins or pale, with large irregular orange brown patterns, which divided by a milky or ivory medial streak. Eyes black or blackish grey. Scutellum orange yellow or ochre-yellow, often with dark lateral triangles and dark apex, or entirely dark. Face with pair of black spots anterodorsad of antennal pits. Fore wing whitish, with oblique bright red or orange yellow vittae. Smoked pattern in apical part of fore wing brownish; bordering of both sides of brochosome field always dark brown or brownish black, someone with orange tint.

Abdominal apodemes large, broad, extended beyond posterior margin of 3rd sternite.

Male genitalia. Pygofer lobe broad, with oblique dorsolateral internal ridge. Pygofer dorsal appendage and ventral appendage absent. Pygofer lobe setosity consist of a group of long macrosetae near basal lower angle and small stout or gracile setae more caudad. Subgenital plate very short and broad, nearly triangular, macrosetae arranged in a continuous row reaching tip of plate, much thinner apically. Style apex curved laterad; preapical lobe prominent or greatly enlarged, cheliform. Aedeagal shaft with an apical process, which is covered with teeth sculpture at both sides, and with a large atrial appendage basally. Connective central lobe absent, two arms long and strong, stem well developed.
