Remarks.

No material of this species was found in this study and no specimen with a precise locality from Indochina has been recorded so far. Only the type specimens were examined, and the type specimen is illustrated herein for the first time. The species was originally described from West Papua, Indonesia ( Pfeiffer 1864). Later, Pfeiffer (1868a) recorded this species from "Lao Mountains, Cambojae" based on H. Mouhot specimens. Since then, subsequent records followed the previous literature without specimens from Indochina. Thus, we place this species as an uncertain record in Laos.
