Type locality: [ U.S.A.], Kentucky.

Type specimens: Lectotype ♀, designated by Davis & De Prins (2011: 48), abdomen, right forewing, and

distal part of right hindwing missing, ANSP; Paralectotypes 3♂, BMNH.

Distribution: Mexico (Bolchi Serini & Trematerra 1989: 193).
