Material examined — Thailand. 2/0/0, Lotus-pond along road 2112, Ubon Ratchathani Province, 15°32.562 N 105°30.952 E, 140 m a.s.l., 8 Nov. 2017 GoogleMaps .

Remarks — Lundblad (1969) described this species as a form of A. cavipetiolatus Lundblad, 1969 . In lateral view the petiole is much more bowed compared to A. cavipetiolatus . The differences in size and shape of the petiole warrants the status of a full species.
