Remarks.

Lepeletier (1806) described Hedychrum lucidum based on one male and one female collected at Meudon and Soissons. There are no syntype specimens in the Lepeletier collection at MNHN ( du Buysson 1899). The specimen labelled as " Hedychrum lucidum Lepel." and "6266" in the Spinola collection could be a syntype. It is a female specimen belonging to Holopyga jurinei Chevrier, 1862, according to the current interpretation of the species given by Linsenmaier (1959).

Current status.

Holopyga lucidum (Lepeletier, 1896) (transferred by Gogorza 1887: 38).
