Current name: Caesalpinia crista L. View in CoL ( Fabaceae : Caesalpinioideae ).

Note: Dandy & Exell (in J. Bot. 76: 176. 1938) provided a detailed discussion and came to the same conclusion as Skeels. Muralt & Chautems (in Saussurea 33: 123-127. 2003) also reproduce (as f. 1 and 2) the cited Plukenet and Breyn illustrations.
