Holotype: ♂, Xinyuan, Xinjiang, 43º41´N, 83º27´E, 2014-VII-13, collected by Dao-Chuan Zhang.

Male: Body median in size. Head shorter than pronotum, vertex longer, apex narrower. Face distinctly oblique in profile. Antennae filiform, 22 segments, length 1.4 times width in the middle joints. Eyes ellipse, vertical diameter 1.3 times horizontal diameter and 1.7 times subocular furrow. Pronotum cylindrical, anterior and posteruior margins nearly straight, median keel distinct, cut by three transverse sulci, lateral keels indistinct, prozona 2.5 times metazona in length. Prosternal process conical, apex rounded. Minimum width of interspace of mesosternum shorter than length, lateral lobes of metasternum separated. Wings absent. Upper keel of hind femur smooth, length of hind femur 4.0 times its maximum width, the end of lower knee lobes rounded. Hind tibia with 9 spines on inner and outer sides, external apical spine present. Second joint of hind tarsus shorter than first joint. Tympanum absent. Base of epiproct with longitudinal groove in the middle, apical part widened, posterior margin straight, with curved projection in the middle. Furculae larger, obtusely leaf-shaped. Cercus conical, extending over the tip of epiproct, apex rounded. Subgenital plate short-tapered, apex rounded. Epiphallus as shown in fig. 12.

Coloration: Male body green. Head green, red behind eyes. Eyes brown. Antennae yellowish-brown. Outer side of hind femur green in median area, yellowish green in upper and lower areas, inner side and inner knee lobe black. Hind tibia yellow, base black. Abdomen green, Subgenital plate yellowish.

Diagnosis. The new species is similar to C. xiai sp. nov. The major differences are listed in Table 2 View TABLE 2 .

Etymology The specific epithet is named for nigri - and femora, meaning black hind femora on inner side in Latin.
