Stegana (Steganina) ancistrophylla View in CoL sp. nov.

( Figs 10–15 View FIGURES 10 – 15 )

Diagnosis. This species is very similar to S. biprotrusa in the shape of the articulating-to-aedeagus plate and gonopods ( Figs 2, 3), but can be differentiated from it by having the tenth sternite not curved dorsad ( Figs 1, 12 View FIGURES 10 – 15 ), the gonopods not strongly curved basolaterally ( Figs 14, 15 View FIGURES 10 – 15 ), and the ventral part of aedeagus nearly triangular in ventral view ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 10 – 15 ).

Description. Male and female: Pedicel black. Mesonotum dark black medially, brown laterally. Katepisternum yellow in male, slightly grayish in female. Basisternum black. Scutellum black, yellow at tip in male, pale in female. Fore femur distally with 5–7 thick (male) or 5–6 thinner (female) setae on anteroventral. All abdominal sternites brown to dark brown, twice as broad as wide. Male terminalia: Epandrium with approximately 25 setae near posterior margin on each body-side ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 10 – 15 ). Hypandrium slightly round anteromedially ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 10 – 15 ). Aedeagus slightly sclerotized, bifurcated from medial portion: ventral part slightly fanlike, ridgy medially, with minute serrate processes on apical margin ( Figs 12, 13 View FIGURES 10 – 15 ). Gonopods strongly sclerotized, apically curved dorsad, laterally strongly curved anteriod like hook, with numerous, minute serrate processes distally and 1 process submedially on each side ( Figs 14, 15 View FIGURES 10 – 15 ).
