( Figs. 62–67 View FIGURES 62 – 67 , 87 View FIGURES 78 – 87 , 89 View FIGURE 89 )
Etymology. Multus (Latin) = much, many; seta (Latin) = bristle. This name is used as an adjective.
Diagnosis. The male of Penniverpa multisetosa is similar to P. festina and P. i n s u l a r and is separated by having the occipital macrosetae sparse and scattered, in having setae on sternite 8 ( Fig. 62 View FIGURES 62 – 67 ) continuous across the posterior margin, and the LGP of the gonostylus ( Fig. 63 View FIGURES 62 – 67 ) lacking a VMP. The female of Penniverpa multisetosa is similar to P. festina is the pattern of pubescence on the abdomen but differs in having the abdominal cuticle dark reddish brown, concolorous. It differs from the female of P. insular in having white pubescence posterolaterally on tergite 5 ( Fig. 87 View FIGURES 78 – 87 ).
