Tropidotilla carinulifera Bischoff 1920: 158 , ♂, holotype "Metemma" [North Ethiopia], 24.III.1883 [MSNG].
Material examined
Yemen: Lahj, 15–30.VI.2000, MT, AvH & A. Sallam, 3 ɗ [ RMNH, IBSS].
Distribution
Yemen (new record), North Ethiopia (Bischoff 1920).
Remarks
The specimens from Yemen are totally black whereas the type specimens from Ethiopia have a ferruginousred propodeum. Body length 5.2–6.0 mm.
