Distribution. Northern Africa, Europe, Russia, China, Western and Central Asia ( Kessler 1874; Wang & Mauriès 1996; Zapparoli 2002; Nefediev et al. 2017), Central Asia: Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan ( Kessler 1874; Sseliwanoff 1884; Attems 1904; Verhoeff 1930; Ulykpan 1988; Dyachkov 2018; Dyachkov & Tuf 2019). It is also known as anthropochore introduction: N and S America, Hawaii Isl. and Japan ( Bonato et al. 2005; Simiakis et al. 2013; Volkova 2016).

Previous records. Sughd Region : Mastchoh District (“Dalversin- steppe”– Dalversinskaya steppe (ca. N40°23'28", E69°20'26), located on border of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan) ( Verhoeff 1930) GoogleMaps .

Remarks. This species is new to the fauna of the Khatlon Region.
