Diagnose: Sensilluskopf groß rund; FeII ohne blattartige Verbreiterung. Körper 375-520 µm lang ( männliche 375-440, weibliche 435-520 µm).

Syn., Tax.: Oribatula plantivaga Berlese , 1895 (AMS 77.5). Oribatula (Hemileius) p. : Berlese 1916c. Eporibatula p. : Willmann 1931 (B). Dometorina p. : Grandjean 1951a (B); Wunderle et al. 1990 (B).

Ökologie: An Baumrinde in Krustenflechten minierend.

Verbreitung: Holarktis, Neotropis.
