Treatment

Lectotype.

ZMB 39008, "Ruwenzori, 1800 m hoch" [Rwenzori Mountains, Democratic Republic of the Congo], collected during the first "Deutsche Zentral-Afrika-Expedition", II/1908.

Paralectotype.

ZMB 74944, same collecting data as for the lectotype.

Present name.

Hyperolius discodactylus Ahl, 1931a.

Remarks.

Depicted in Ahl (1931b: 380, fig. 255). Lectotype designation by Liedtke et al. (2014) who rediscovered the type specimens in the ZMB collection.
