BolbaOEer coriaceus species-group
This species-group comprises B. coriaceus , B. dudleyi and B. abditus . Males and females share: metatrochanter postero-medially with distinct angle (arrow e.g. ®gure 12d); distribution in eastern Africa. Males share: outer margin of mandible distinctly sinuate; pronotum with four horns / tubercles along posterior margin; apex of protibial spur modi®ed (e.g. ®gure 12a); in ventral view parts of metatrochanter and metafemur with short setation (e.g. ®gure 12n); similar postero-median emarginations on sternite 5 (®gure 12g, l, q); similar modi®cations on sternite 6 (®gure 12g, l, q); unmodi®ed or feebly modi®ed sternite 6 and pygidium (®gure 12f, k, p); unique shape of parameres (®gure 13a±l); and aedeagus distinctly curved in lateral view (®gure 13c, f, i, l). Females share: posterior margin of sternite 4 with bisinuate curvature; and lack of other modi®cations on abdominal sternites and pygidium.
