VERACRUZ: Laguna El Zacatal: Ollotis valliceps ( Guillén-Hernández et al., 2000) , Dendropsophus microcephalus ( Goldberg et al., 2002b) ; Estación de Biología Los Tuxtlas: Rhinella marina ( Guillén-Hernández et al., 2000) .

Specimens deposited: CNHE (817, 1191, 1426-27).

Notes: It has been suggested that specimens from Lago de Xochimilco do not belong to this species [similar to Haematoloechus iturbei ( León-Règagnon et al., 1999) ], and also that the specimens from Veracruz could pertain to Haematoloechus danbrooksi (León-Règagnon, 2003) . Specimens collected in Dendropsophus microcephalus were not deposited in a collection, so their determination remains doubtful (León-Règagnon, 2003).
