Crocodylia (A): Intestine.

OAXACA: Tehuantepec, Río Verde : Crocodylus acutus ( Peláez & Cruz, 1953) .

Specimens deposited: CNHE (687, 1049) (H, P).

Notes: This species was described as Acanthostomum caballeroi ( Peláez & Cruz, 1953) , and subsequently transferred to the genera Atrophecaecum ( Groschaft & Barus, 1970) , Caimanicola ( Brooks, 1980), and Proctocaecum ( Lamothe-Argumedo & Ponciano-Rodríguez, 1985) . It also has been synonymized with Acanthostomum scyphocephalum ( Nasir, 1974) .
