Zoogeographic element. Euro-Caucasian.

Distribution. From Northern Europe ( Sweden, Lituania), westward to England and eastward from South- Eastern Europe (Balkan Peninsula) to Asia Minor.

Distribution in Romania. Epigeal records. Mehadia (FQ07) (Kuthy 1896); Turnu Roşu (KL85), Sighişoara (LM21), Pasul Oituz (MM50), Braşov (LL85) (all: Petri 1912, 1926), Bucegi Mt. (LL82) (Ieniştea 1941). Hypogeal records. Cloşani (MSS) (FQ09) (Nitzu & Ilie 2004) ( Fig. 12 View FIGURE 12 ).

Ecological status. Trogloxene.
