Zoogeographic element. Euro-Caucasian.
Distribution. Species with discontinous European range, northward from Sweden to the Urals, westward to Ireland and England, southward from North Italy to the northern part of the Balkan Peninsula ( Serbia, Montenegro) and eastward to the Caucasus.
Distribution in Romania. Epigeal records. Sibiu (KL77), Şura Mare (KL78), Sighişoara (LM 21) (all: Kuthy 1896); Braşov (LL85), Härman (LL96) (both: Petri 1912; Jeannel 1936); Bucegi Mt. (LL82) (Ieniştea 1941); Mägura Mt. (LL 64) (Worell 1951). Hypogeal records. Casian (PK12) (Nitzu 2002) ( Fig. 13 View FIGURE 13 ). Ecological status. Trogloxene.
