Gelastocoridae View in CoL is represented in Argentina by 10 species and subspecies in three genera ( Coscarón 2017). Estévez et al. (2003, 2010) and Estévez & López Ruf (2006) previously reported two species of Gelastocoridae View in CoL from INR, which were not collected during this study: Nerthra gaucha Estévez & Schnack, 1981 View in CoL and Nerthra ranina View in CoL (Herrich-Schaeffer, 1853). Nerthra nepaeformis (Fabricius, 1775) View in CoL and N. unicornis (Melin, 1929) View in CoL , reported from Corrientes Province (Schnack & Estévez 1979; Bachmann 1998), have not been collected from INR.
