Known distribution. ARGENTINA, BOLIVIA, BRAZIL (Amazonas, Bahia, Distrito Federal, Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais, Pará, Rondônia, São Paulo) , COLOMBIA, GUYANA, PARAGUAY, PERU, SURINAME, VENEZUELA.

Remarks. This species is widely distributed in Brazil and in the Northeast Region, having been recorded previously only from Bahia State. In this study the known distribution is extended and provides the first record for the state of Maranhão [Caxias Municipality].
