Type Locality: Angola, Mossamedes.

Vernacular Names: Angolan Wing-gland Bat.

Distribution: Northern Cape Prov. ( South Africa), Namibia, SW Angola.

Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Vulnerable as Myotis seabrai .

Discussion: For distribution map see Taylor (2000 a). Sometimes spelled " seabrai ", but the original spelling is seabrae .
