Distribution and habitat. Distribution in Iraq: Tigris River drainages.—General distribution: Tigris River basin ( Türkiye, Iraq, and Iran).—Habitat: This species occurs in streams with moderately to rapidly flowing freshwater in both mountainous and desert landscapes. Freshwater.
Economic importance. No commercial importance.
