Remarks. Alburnoides bipunctatus was reported from Iraq by Coad (2010). However, Iraq is not in the natural distribution of the species. This record refers one of recently identified species in this region. Alburnoides diclensis was identified from the Eziki stream, Tigris River drainage, Hakkari Province, Turkey. It has not yet been recorded from Iraq; it is, however, distributed in transboundary waters. Therefore, the presence of the species should be clarified by a field sample.
