Distribution: Brazil: Paraná, São Paulo.

New record for the Paraná State.

Comments: In addition to providing the first record of the species since its original description, we recorded males for the first time. In the same way as the two previous species, N. flavirostris presents colour polymorphism, with light green and yellowish/brown individuals. We also highlight that in this species the vertex is almost as long as the length of the pronotal disc. This was one of the few species of Neoconocephalus for which we could make a reliable sex association, partly because the description was based on a female and mainly for the existing colour contrast in the body of both males and females.
