Key to the females of known species of Anadenosternum
1. Lateral walls of endogynium more sclerotised, reticulate, punctate and with smooth margins ( Figs 27–30 View FIGURES 22 – 35 ); endogynium medially with variously formed process ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 17 – 21 ), the process rod-like, penis-like, thorn-like, wedge-like, often with bifurcate apex;ventrianal shield with ten pairs of setae (plus circum-anal setae); opisthonotal shield with 28–33 setae on each side of the shield, but normally with 31 pairs of setae ( Fig. 17 View FIGURES 17 – 21 ); idiosoma 430–485 µm long... Anadenosternum azaleense (Daele, 1975)
- Lateral walls of endogynium unsclerotised, smooth and with denticles (3–5 teeth present); endogynium medially without additional structures( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 6 – 14 );ventrianal shield with 11 pairs of setae (plus circum-anal setae; Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1 – 5 ); opisthonotal shield with 31– 34 setae on each side of the shield, but normally with 33 pairs of setae ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 – 5 ); idiosoma 460–500 µm long..........................................................................................
