TYPE LOCALITY: Russia, SE Transbaikalia, Chitinsk. Obi., upper Onon River .

DISTRIBUTION: Formerly, Mongolia except mountains and SW desert, N China, and Transbaikalia ( Russia); now restricted to E Mongolia and Inner Mongolia ( China); see Sokolov and Orlov (1980:280).

SYNONYMS: altaica , orientalis .
