Includes former members of subgenera Crematogaster sensu stricto (in part), Decacrema (in part), Paracrema , Physocrema and Xiphocrema .

Petiole shape in dorsal view circular ( Fig. 21 View FIGURES 20 – 27. 20 a), oval ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 12 – 19. 12 a), suboval ( Fig. 19 View FIGURES 12 – 19. 12 a), or greatly flared ( Fig. 17 View FIGURES 12 – 19. 12 a). 2. Postpetiole usually globular, with at most faint posterior impression ( Figs 24–25 View FIGURES 20 – 27. 20 ); less commonly postpetiole bilobed ( Fig. 17 View FIGURES 12 – 19. 12 b).
