First faunistic record for Croatia: Krauss 1879

Distribution in Croatia: Rather widespread and common along the Adriatic coast with islands (Hvar, Mljet, Šipan) and the southern slopes of the Dinaric Alps.

Distribution in Europe: Widespread in the Mediterranean, from Northeastern Spain in the west and Southern France and Slovenia in the north, to Sicily in the south and Greece in the east ( Hochkirch et al. 2016).
