Vernacular Names: Michoacan Pocket Gopher.
Distribution: Known only from small areas in the general vicinity of Lago Pátzcuaro, NC Michoacan ( Mexico).
Conservation: IUCN – Endangered. Local temporal extirpation documented by Hafner and Barkley (1984).
