Distribution: Bolivia. Paraguay ( Urban & Moure, 2002). Argentina: Misiones. New records.
Remarks: Moure (1960) revised the species described by Vachal and presented a key for their identification, redescribed the holotype of Prosopis fossitermis Vachal, 1910 and synonymized this species under Hylaeus bertonii . This species is characterized by fine and sparse piligerous punctures on mesoscutum, scutellum and metanotum while the punctuation is dense and coarse on the lower portion of the mesepisternum ( Fig. 2C, D View Figure 2 ) ( Moure, 1960).
