Material examined (1♀): 1♀, Argentina, Misiones, Parque Nacional Iguazú, Palmital cruce, 25°41′23.20″S, 54°28′46.97″O, en flores de Euterpe edulis , −/ IX/2013, Col. F. Zamudio.
Distribution: Brazil: Minas Gerais, São Paulo ( Moure & Melo, 2022). Argentina: Misiones. New record.
Remarks: Females of H. flavopictus can be distinguished by the following characters: clypeus with a yellow apical band, broader medially ( Fig. 3D View Figure 3 ); mandibles, labrum, fore and middle legs and pronotal lobe yellow; metasoma brown,T2-T5 with basolateral yellow spots ( Fig.3E View Figure 3 ); inner hind tibial spur pectinate, with three branches ( Moure, 1941).
