Type material: Holotype: male from Parque Estadual do Utinga , Belém, Pará, Brazil (01º25’21.8”S, 48º25’14.2”W), Oct. 23–30, 2010, E.L.S. Etymology. The specific name is a patronym honoring the arachnologist Matias A. Izquierdo (Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina), recognizing his great contribution to the Goblin Spiders PBI.

Diagnosis. Males of this species resemble H. corniculata sp. nov., H. egua sp. nov. and H. gunma sp. nov. by the conductor without proximal projection, with single tip and by the presence of endite’s P3 ( Figs 49C,G View FIGURES 49 , 52C,G View FIGURES 52 , 54C,L View FIGURES 54 ); they can be distinguished from those of H. corniculata sp. nov. by the lamellar endite’s P3 ( Fig. 57D View FIGURES 57 ); from those of H. egua sp. nov. the lamellar endite’s P1 ( Fig. 57D View FIGURES 57 ); from those of H. gunma sp. nov. by the narrow booklung covers, smaller than the width of pedicel opening ( Fig. 55G View FIGURES 55 ) (round, approximately the width of pedicel opening in H. gunma sp. nov., Fig. 48G View FIGURES 48 ). Females differ from those of the other species with a narrow postepigastric plate (distinctly wider than long) bearing a small scape and with narrow book long covers (smaller than the width of pedicel opening) ( H. quadraginta s p. nov., H. kropfi sp. nov., H. santosi sp. nov., and H. ubicki sp. nov.; Figs 33F–H View FIGURES 33 , 74F–H View FIGURES 74 , 77F–H View FIGURES 77 , 86F–H View FIGURES 86 ) by the posterior margin of postepigastric plate triangular (semicircular in H. quadraginta s p. nov. and H. kropfi sp. nov.), not elevated (elevated in H. santosi sp. nov.), highly sclerotized (weakly sclerotized in H. ubicki sp. nov.) Description. Male (PBI_OON 45736). Total length 1.47. CEPHALOTHORAX: Carapace orange-brown, with Coxapopha -like pattern, pars cephalica with two posterior humps in lateral view, surface of elevated portion of pars cephalica smooth, sides scaly, fovea present ( Figs 55B–C View FIGURES 55 , 57A View FIGURES 57 ). Eyes ALE circular, PME circular, PLE oval; posterior eye row recurved from above, straight from front; ALE separated by their radius to diameter, ALE-PLE separated by less than ALE radius, PME touching throughout most of their length, PLE-PME separated by less than PME radius ( Fig. 55E View FIGURES 55 ). Sternum as long as wide, orange-brown, median concavity absent, with radial furrows between coxae I–II, II–III, III–IV, furrow wrinkled, surface smooth, without pits, microsculpture absent ( Figs 55D View FIGURES 55 , 57B View FIGURES 57 ). Mouthparts: Chelicerae distal region abruptly narrowed ( Fig. 55E View FIGURES 55 ). Labium anterior margin anteriorly projecting at middle, wider than long ( Fig. 57C View FIGURES 57 ). Endites with a median projection (mp), a P1, a P2 and a P3; mp very short, directed anteriorly; P1 lamellar, directed ventrally, situated posteriorly to mp. P2 large, lamellar, situated anteriorly to P3, directed ventrally. P3 lamellar, situated anteriorly to P2, directed ventrally ( Figs 55F View FIGURES 55 , 57C–E View FIGURES 57 ). ABDOMEN: dorsum soft portions pale orange. Book lung covers small, very narrow. Dorsal scutum pale orange, covering full length of abdomen, no soft tissue visible from above. Epigastric scutum, not protruding. Postepigastric scutum pale orange, almost semicircular, covering nearly full length of abdominal length ( Figs 55B,G View FIGURES 55 ). LEGS: pale orange. GENITALIA: Epigastric region with sperm pore situated at level of anterior spiracles. Palp proximal segments pale orange; embolus tip flattened, not bent upwards; conductor present, longer than embolus, tip flattened ( Figs 55G–I View FIGURES 55 , 57F–H View FIGURES 57 ).

Female (PBI_OON 45806). As in male except as noted. Total length 1.41. Carapace without any pattern, pars cephalica strongly elevated in lateral view ( Fig. 56B View FIGURES 56 ). Eyes PME oval. Sternum longer than wide ( Fig. 56D View FIGURES 56 ). Mouthparts: Labium rectangular, anterior margin indented at middle ( Fig. 56D View FIGURES 56 ). GENITALIA: Ventral view: postepigastric plate forming a short postepigastric scape; copulatory orifice slit shaped, narrow, situated on the anterior elevated margin of the postepigastric plate. Dorsal view: anterior genitalic process with small, procurved arms ( Figs 56G–H View FIGURES 56 , 57J–K View FIGURES 57 ).
