Propalachia borneana Bouček, 1998: 258 . Holotype ♀ [CNC], Malaysia (Borneo, Sabah): Gunong Kinabalu N. P., Headquarters, Silau Trail, 1500m, 23.v.1987.

Diagnosis. Body black, mesosoma with slight bluish tinge; eyes sometimes bright bluish-pink depending on preservation.Appendages partially whitish as follows: scape (except dorsally), pro- and mesocoxae (except mesocoxa ventrally at base), metacoxa dorsoapically, all trochanters, dorsomesal line on mesofemur, pro- and mesotibiae on outer side, metafemur basally extending diagonally dorsally, and a subbasal spot on metatibia; tarsi testaceous. Fore wing broadly infumate below marginal and stigmal veins, slightly infumate at wing base.

Head and mesosoma densely punctured-reticulate. Eyes large, broader than minimum frons width. Parascrobal areas narrow. Mesosoma longer than in P. beaveri . Propodeum with narrow diagonal spiracle, deep pit anterior to a tooth-like projection on transverse ridge. Fore wing with pmv about twice as long as stv; smv, parastigma, and proximal mv with strong bristles. Petiole twice as broad as long, appearing elongated due to the short constricted Gt 1. Gt 1 –Gt 3 smooth, Gt 4 and Gt 5 more reticulate with subdecumbent setae. Hypopygium produced, setose distally. Ovipositor sheaths over half the length of metatibia.

Biology. Unknown.

Distribution. Indonesia; Malaysia ( Bouček 1998).
