Type locality. Russia.

Distant (1906a) listed Quetta, Oshanin (1908) listed Baluchistan, and Kato (1932) listed Balistan in the distribution of the species.

Remarks. The species is distributed from Egypt to Mongolia across central Asia ( Metcalf 1963b; Dlabola 1981; Lodos & Klakandelen 1981; Duffels & van der Laan 1985; Mirzayans 1995; Mozaffarian & Sanborn 2010).
