Type locality. Hindustan.

Distant (1906a) listed Pakistan as habitat for the species. China (1926) and Janjua & Samuel (1941) listed Baluchistan as a source of specimens. Ghulamullah (1941) listed Quetta and Chaudhry et al. (1970) listed Quetta, Ziarat, and Pishin as collection localities.

Remarks. The species has been reported from Afghanistan, Pakistan and India ( Metcalf 1963b; Duffels & van der Laan 1985).
