Current name: Radula complanata (L.) Dumort. ( Radulaceae ).

Note: Grolle (in Trans. Brit. Bryol. Soc. 5: 772. 1969) designated material in the Dillenian herbarium (OXF) as lectotype but this collection was not studied by Linnaeus and it is not original material for the name. See also notes by Isoviita (in Acta Bot. Fenn. 89: 9. 1970), and Hansen & Fox Maule (in Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 67: 200. 1973) for comments on Osbeck material.
