A genus containing five large species, two recorded in Ecuador. Male thorax is mostly dark green, that of female drab ( Fig. 67 View FIGURE 67 ). The genus was revised by Geijskes (1959), although clarification of some species is needed ( Garrison et al. 2006). The habitat is small, slow streams in forested to partially open areas.
