Archaeopodagrion Kennedy, 1939

This genus was thought to be endemic to Ecuador, but recently a new species from Colombia was described by Bota-Sierra (2017a). Adults are rather drab and difficult to detect as they perch in shady forested areas ( Fig. 52 ). Three species are known from Ecuador, and two undescribed species have been collected (Tennessen, unpubl.; Haber, pers. comm.). The nymph is unknown.
