Distribution in Iran. Tehran ( Farahbakhsh 1961 as Laemophloeus turcicus Grouvelle, 1876 ), generally distributed ( Modarres Awal 1997), Iran (no locality cited) ( Wegrzynowicz 2007).
General distribution. Worldwide in stored products.
Hosts. On cacao, cotton ( Modarres Awal 1997), wheat, rice, other cereals and their products, in granary ( Farahbakhsh 1961; Modarres Awal 1997; Bagheri-Zenouz 2010).
