Type material

Holotype male, China: Hainan Province, Changjiang County, Mt. Bawangling (19.3° N, 109.1° E], 7 November 2008, M. S. Zhu leg. ( MHBU). Paratypes one male, four females, same data as holotype, collected by G. X. Han, S. T. Guo and J. Y. Guo ( MHBU). GoogleMaps

Diagnosis

This new species resembles O. taiwanicus (cf. Kamura 2001: 54, figs. 14–19) in the shape of the genital organs, but can be distinguished from the latter by: (1) dorsal markings of carapace and abdomen different ( Figure 3A View Figure 3 ); (2) median plate of epygine narrower than in O. taiwanicus ; (3) the spermathecae almost parallel compared with V-shaped in O. taiwanicus ( Figure 3E, F View Figure 3 ).

Etymology

The species name is a noun in apposition, derived from the type locality.
