Urtica parietaria Linnaeus , Species Plantarum 2: 985. 1753.

"Habitat in Jamaica." RCN: 7137.

Lectotype (Kellogg in Howard, Fl. Lesser Antilles 4: 87. 1988): [icon] " Parietaria foliis ex adverso nascentibus, urticae racemiferae flore " in Sloane, Voy. Jamaica 1: 144, t. 93, f. 1. 1707. - Typotype: Herb. Sloane 2: 120 ( BM-SL) .
